A big argument and great debate has risen among scientist and religion people as to whether such living bodies be considered living persons but there is no satisfactory answer. Blood cells are kept alive for some days after being withdrawn from the body and sperms can keep their 'living-ness' for years by deep freezing. Organs are kept alive with proper treatment for some time after being taken immediately after the death of the donor for transplantation and when transplanted they, apart from graft rejection, remain living for as long as the recipient lives. Are we in facing a Soul with different properties on cellular, organ and total body levels? All these unanswerable questions and queries indicate one thing, which is that the secrets of "Soul" or the power of being and keeping being alive belong to the Almighty God and only to the Almighty God.
THIRD: THE BODY
The body is the earthly part of man. It is the man' s chemistry and an anatomy of earthly components. However, as such it is no more than earth. Collect similar components and put them together in the same proportions, exact composition and in the same form but the result is nothing but inanimate matter. To turn a 'chemical body' into a 'living body' you need the power that turns dead matter into living matter. This power is the Heavenly Soul, which until the present day and possibly for the near and far future remains an unsolvable mystery. The physical behavior of the body is predetermined by its genetic coding endowed to it and primarily designed and determined by the 'Maker' of all things. Together the earthly Body and the Heavenly Soul make a living body and form the vehicle for the Spirit to reside in. All 'apparently' normal bodies are grossly similar. They may however differ on a cellular and/or biological level a fact that may affect body conditions and hence capabilities. So much so that an overtly diseased body system (s) may be devoid of Spirit and of the means of dealing with the outside world and hence of its own behavior to varying degrees; an incapacitated brain would be the worst of all as mentioned earlier. When the living Body looses the 'Soul power' it looses the living-ness and is then governed by earthly, material laws, dies and decomposes to earthly matter until it is recomposed with God's will for resurrection on the Day of Judgment.
Finally, I can see and accept that this article may cause some discussion and in fact I am open to such discussion. I accept every kind of scrutiny, which will help in reaching reality and understanding the nature of man. I understand that when one tries and fails in such an endeavor he has one reward and if he succeeds he has a double reward and thus I pray to God to always be a gainer of the double-reward.
