Introduction

The Qu'ran is the true word of God and the heavenly book that was revealed to Prophet Mohammed word for word and verse for verse. Almighty God clearly indicated that He would absolutely preserve the Holy Book against any human corruption or even minor change. Thus every word and every statement in the Book is surely of heavenly and divine origin.

We did descend the Qur'an and We are to protect it (15;9)

Being the true word of God it is not surprising that the book exudes a vast body of miracles and mysteries that would take man centuries of hard work to discover. God tells us that He will reveal to us mysteries of the universe and of our body.

Soon will we show them our signs in the furthest regions of Earth and in their own souls until it becomes manifest to them that this is the truth. Is it not enough that thy Lord does witness all things (54;41).

The verses are truly time tested. Overwhelming discoveries have been pouring out from science and all pointing to one fact: the Almighty-ness of the creator and the true-ness of the holy book.

In the past, however, people used to await discoveries that fit with verses in the Qur'an to announce that such and such a phenomenon had been referred to in the Holy Book more than a thousand years before. Sometimes they would even twist the meanings of the Qur'anic statements in order to make them suit a discovery. Nevertheless, when the latter proves to be false they retreat. But what if we did it the other way round? i.e. we start with analyzing verses of the Holy Book extract what they really indicate and then formulate a theory and see how it fits with our current information. And if it does not, we continue researching until we find a lead; always being certain that facts in the Holy Book are absolute, indisputable and unchangeable. And in such a case our understanding and our way of looking at them and our interpretation are the things to be revised. Following this notion I start the first trial to discuss and analyze some verses of the holy book. Being a physician and hence with some knowledge of the human body I choose verses related to man.
